Horizon in Saginaw

Today, December 8, at Horizon in Saginaw from 9 am - 3 pm is our last show for the year.

I found some great dishes tucked away in the basement to take today. It was like Christmas morning unwrapping the dishes. I have to admit I kept a couple for myself!

After washing the dishes, I wrapped knives for several hours.  I have lots of great hostess gifts for you to choose for your holiday gifts!

See you at Horizon!

20th Annual Hollyday Art Fair

The 20th Annual Hollyday Art Fair is a holiday tradition in the heart of Saginaw's Celebration Square! The day includes an art fair, luncheon, fresh holly sale, cookie sale and silent auction.

The Hollyday Art Fair is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, at the Andersen Enrichment Center, 120 Ezra Rust in Saginaw. Admission is free.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and costs $6. Holly costs $10 a bag and cookies cost $5 a dozen.

I will be selling my plates and knives. This year is special for me because it is the venue of my 3rd book in the Saginaw Series. This past year I published a series of eBooks about Saginaw.  They follow friends from the summer before 9th grade to the summer before senior year.

I also have a blog about the series. Go here!

Wrapping, Wrapping, Wrapping

I have started to wrap for the season - I bought some beautiful beads the last couple of months. So I have been wrapping, wrapping, wrapping. So far I have about 250 knives completed! And the dishes from the estate sales have been plentiful. Lots of beautiful cut glass dishes. I so enjoy going to the estate sales and finding dishes I know my customers will love. I added the Hollyday Fair again this year. I was pleased to be asked back. The complete list of shows is on the right hand side of this blog. If you are looking at the android version go to the full website version to see the dates. I am sad to say that Grandy Farm will not have an open house this year. I know that after 25 Deb wanted a break. But it was a fun show and I always looked forward to hanging out with the artists!

5th Annual Art from the Heart

I am always pleased to donate an auction item for the Art from the Heart for the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum. This year I donated a beautiful Mikasa cake plate, 6 glass plates, 1 serving piece and 6 forks hand decorated with heart and glass beads.
